When people ask us why we selected our particular inn for our innkeeping adventure one of our answers is the restaurants in Easton, PA are fantastic! This week we had the opportunity to revisit one of our favorites – Ocean. We were delighted to see some new menu options alongside many of our all-time favorites.
Cocktails being a key reason to visit Ocean, we started with a Mexican Fizz and a Ginger Twist. Bypassing our normal truffled fries order we opted for two new appetizers to share: Roasted Rabbit Pot Pie and Duck Confit Crepes. Crazy good! We were fighting for the crumbs. After an intermezzo of the escarole salad with parmesan and house made raisin vinaigrette we decided on the Caramelized Scallops with Corn and Bacon Risotto and Roasted Halibut with Braised Fennel and Couscous. Wow! The scallops and halibut were cooked to perfection and the accompaniments were spot on. All of this left us sadly with no room for dessert but the offering sounded delicious and inventive.
