Entertainment & Adventure
The choices for outdoor activities in the Lehigh Valley will satisfy fun-seekers of all ages. Relax and travel back in time on the Mule Drawn Canal Boat Rides on the Lehigh River that will complement a tour of the National Canal Museum or, if that's too slow for your liking, try the Steel Force Roller Coaster at Dorney Park and Wild Water Kingdom, one of the biggest and fastest on the east coast.
Want to stay on the ground? Biking and Hiking especially on the canal boat tow path (right here in Easton) or Jim Thorpe offers feet-on-the-ground exploration. Blue Ridge Ranch Riding Stable (610-837-1940), only 10 minutes from the Inn, is the place for horseback riding fun, and if you want to get wet, kayaking, canoeing and tubing is popular on the Lehigh and Delaware Rivers, as well as some great fly fishing.
Want to explore underground? The wonders of Lost River Caverns just a few miles from the Inn, will satisfy your desire for spelunking. For underwater enthusiasts, Dutch Springs offers a water park, diving, snorkeling, and underwater exploring as well as classes.
Skiing and other winter fun is available on the numerous slopes of nearby Pocono and Blue Mountains. And in every season you can enjoy beautiful landscapes and taste incredible wines on the Lehigh Valley Wine Trail or take the short scenic drive along the Delaware to visit Villa Milagro, New Jersey's only organic winery.
If bicycle racing is more your speed then visit the Lehigh Valley Velodrome.
