Valentine’s Day Easton, PA 2016

Are you stumped on what to do with your valentine this year? Surprise your loved one, a friend, or a family member with a night out to one of the fabulous restaurants in the Easton PA area and enjoy one of the romantic evenings happening in the Lehigh Valley on and around Valentine’s Day.

For a romantic step back in time check out The Sigal Museum’s latest exhibit “Here Come the Brides”. It features local wedding gowns and other finery spanning the 1840’s through the 1960’s.

The Lehigh Valley will be flooded with wine and chocolate all throughout the month of February. Start your Valentine’s Day early at Vynecrest Winery in Breinigsville. They will be opening at 10am for guests to enjoy mimosas and tasty treats. Afterwards, visit this wonderful winery, experience a complimentary wine tasting, and relax to live music in the wine bar. Be sure to check nearby New Jersey winery’s websites for the Wine & Chocolate Trail weekend happening February 14th. And in downtown Easton stop in The Carmelcorn Shop for delicious homemade chocolates all month long.

Nothing beats the classic “dinner and a movie” date, but why not kick it up a notch at the elegant Frank Banko Alehouse Cinema at SteelStacks in Bethlehem. This unique theatre is equipped with a bar and an appetizer menu. Visit their website for movie listings closer to the date.

Catch Tony and Tina’s Wedding at ArtsQuest Center at 7:00 pm on February 12-14 and 19-20. This is a one-of-a-kind theatrical experience in which the crowd takes part. At this event you’ll find you and your valentine swept away onto a wedding reception dance floor. If you enjoy theatre, dancing, and just having a great time with your special someone, this show will be a great experience.

We know that the valley is full of beer lovers, which is why we celebrate our love for beer in such close proximity to Valentine’s Day. Lehigh Valley Beer Week is happening February 20 – 27. The Beermuda Triangle, three great pubs right in downtown Easton – Two River’s Brewing, Porter’s Pub, and Black and Blue – will be celebrating by hosting a pub-crawl on the 27th. For a more casual romantic experience, or a fun night with close friends, this pub-crawl is a great way to experience the classic pub scene that Easton has to offer. Two Rivers Brewing is also releasing its “Baconfest Brown Ale” on the 24th and hosting a beer pairing dinner on the 25th.
