Easton Public Market Now Open

Butcher at the Easton Public MarketEaston, Pennsylvania is already a true food lovers’ paradise but now that the Easton Public Market is open the amazing choices for dining and shopping are truly incredible!

Located at 325 Northampton Street and open Wed – Sat 9:00 am to 7:00 pm and Sun 9:00 am – 3:00 pm this gorgeous space features a butcher and fresh fish monger, produce market, coffee roaster, bakery, chocolatier and many specialty shops.

The following Restaurants are located inside the Market and some may have longer hours than the market itself. All of these spots are relentlessly dedicated to using fresh and local ingredients. You can grab a seat at one of their counters or snag a communal table and send everyone in your party off to pick up their favorite thing. Wines by the glass are available at Tolino Vineyards and craft beers on tap at Scratch to enjoy with your meal.

Mr. Lee’s Noodles

New York City isn’t the only place where famous chefs are opening upscale ramen shops. Now Easton has it’s own by Lee and Erin Chizmar of Bolete fame. Try the cold spicy noodles or the inventive Dutch ramen bowl.

Full of Crepe

You’ve waited in the long lines at the Saturday morning market in Easton’s Center Square but now you can get them Wednesday through Sunday! I can never decide whether to have the overflowing turkey savory one or the Nutella and strawberry sweet one – take a friend and split them both.

More Than Q

We needed BBQ in Easton! All of the stuff you crave from pulled pork to ribs to brisket and of course amazing sides. Go just for the fries too.

Scratch

Smell that wood burning? These guys are uber serious about their pizza oven and their ingredients from the perfect dough to the hand stretched mozzarella. They have craft beer on draft too and a selection of yummy breads and cookies to go.

The Taza Stop

Successful food truck turned in to a great pit stop featuring really fresh Egyptian inspired food. Lots of vegan and vegetarian options along with halal certified meats. Try something new!

Don’t forget to save room for a picture perfect truffle at Chocdiem or a slice of pie at Debbie’s Pie in the Sky and an espresso at Fieldstone Coffee Roasters (they also have this wicked cold brew coffee on tap…). Once your belly is full wander around and shop for olive oil, dried fruits and nuts, fresh produce and gifts for everyone on your list. I promise if you go for lunch you’ll want to go back for dinner!

Buon appettito! – Laura
